Returns and withdrawal

Right to withdraw within 14 days

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to info@clay-instruments.com before the deadline expires. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returning the goods

Return the instrument to: Jan Sedlář, No. 564, 696 72 Lipov, Czech Republic.

The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer. Pack the instrument carefully — it is ceramic and fragile. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.

Refund

I will refund all payments received, including the original delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal statement — but I may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or you prove they have been sent back. The refund is made using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.

Faulty goods

If an instrument has a defect, you have the rights arising from defective performance under Czech law, in particular the right to have the defect remedied or to a proportionate discount, and in certain cases to withdraw from the contract. Consumers may exercise these rights within 24 months of receipt.

Please report defects by email with photographs and a description.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute — see adr.coi.cz.
